Its time for a brand new journey with Ceres Rail Company to Darling Cellars (Mamreweg Station)! Departing from the Harbour Bridge Platform (AC Marriot Hotel), Cape Town, this new steam train adventure promises a relaxing 2.5-hour trip through the scenic Cape landscape to Darling Cellars (about 15 km outside Darling).

Our historic passenger train, pulled by a steam locomotive, ensures a unique experience. Onboard, discover a fully licensed bar and a dining car offering coffee and delectable snacks. For your convenience, we also provide card payment options.

Upon reaching Darling Cellars between 11 and 11h30, you’ll have ample time to enjoy your welcome drink, do a wine tasting or pairing (costs excluded), and enjoy a hearty lunch (costs excluded). The day will also be supported by Darling Brew and their selection of fine craft beers and drink offerings. A link to pre-order the various food options (on the train and at Darling Cellars) will be sent via email and WhatsApp 2 weeks before the event.

As the day unfolds, we bid farewell to Darling Cellars at around 14h30, bringing you back to Cape Town by approximately 17h30. Don’t miss out on this exceptional adventure – book your seat now and join us as we explore this new route together!

Should unforeseen circumstances arise, the steam locomotive may be replaced by a diesel locomotive
